From Seed to Cup

After a trip to Materuni Waterfalls, 15 km north of Moshi Town, Tanzania, we stopped at the coffee plantation in Materuni village

The process from picking up the coffee seed to making a cup of coffee, the whole process was displayed with their traditional touch of singing and dancing, to make their work feel light. It was entertaining for us to watch them and also taking part in their activities.

Two types of coffee: Arabica and Robusta

Arabica coffee grows above 1000 ft elevation whereas Robusta grows below 1000 ft elevation.
