Inner Bair Island is an easy trail in Redwood City, California is a great place for birding, watching sunset, and trail running and walking. Opened in 2016, it is a beautiful stretch of endless horizon right in the middle of the marsh lands. Early hours in the morning and during the sunsets, it is amazing to be there enjoying the solitude of the place.
With the highway on one side & the marsh lands on the other, the experience is definitely a unique one. Since we were dating the sunset, we couldn’t really get to see many birds other than a few Canada geese.
